I'd like to not say this but I've got to take a short break from here. It should be just a week. I've got to get my life a bit more organized. Have to find me a job - or some source of income. So bye for now, but not for forever in the least.
I make a grocery menu/list for the upcoming week on Saturdays, and then we buy our groceries on either that day or Sundays. So by the time Saturday comes around, I'm looking around the fridge and pantry, looking something to snack on, but - alas - there is nothing to be found. These are sad times when they occur.
I am interested in Tumblr. I just discovered. Literally, just right now. It seems akin to Twitter, which adore because it's so easy, smooth and pretty to look at. Oh, and it's also been a great networking site for me to meet new awesome people. So we'll see.
I like having intelligent conversations. Something stimulating. Maybe about poetry? Or the war? Or how about how to save the world? Or maybe even about Anais Nin and Henry Miller's fascinating relationship?...Yes, please.
I am interested in it being consistently warm again. I love spring and summer and the warmth one feels when the sun shines down on you. It is glorious. It is inspiring. It is energizing.
I dislike when people don't say "thank you." I encountered this multiple times today. I don't know if it's this weather that are putting people in a rude mood or what.
But I did hold the door open for this guy today and looked right at him and smiled as he walked in, and he didn't say single word. Hurrumph. See I hold the door for him again.
I have somehow created this image of myself as being a writer (mostly in newspapers and blogs). But I do actually have aspirations to be a real "writer." I have many book ideas that I'm trying to explore. The 1st one I'd like to write is about how to go Sustainable DIY-Style. How's that sound to ya?
I dislike wasting things. And I don't like seeing people waste either. I was raised in one of those families where you ate everything on your plate, you took full advantage of everything you had and you just didn't throw away anything (unless you absolutely had to).
So when I see my boyfriend not finish his food or see him throw away something that could have gotten a couple more uses out of it, I inwardly pitch a fit. It's something I'm working on. ;)
I am interested in owning my own business one day. There are so many ideas floating around in my head, it's hard to pick one that I like more than any of the others.
I like record player and records. I bought myself a record player & some speakers back in September. I had been waiting to save enough money to buy a stereo receiver to complete the set. Instead, my stepfather bought me one and some records.
I dislike being sick. I've been sick two times in the last month. From a terrible cough, to an upset stomach, to endless amount of bodily fluids escaping me, the last 30 days have been...gross...to say the least.
I am interested in photography. I took a photography class in college and even before discovering the wonders of the dark room, I already enjoyed documenting my life through pictures.
Likes #3: I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE crafts. I love being crafty. I love making things. Crafts are awesome and making them can be such a soothing activity. Also, the bonding experience potential is limitless when making crafts with friends.
